This 2Kg bread proofing basket benefits from an all-natural rattan construction which helps your dough develop the best flavour and consistent texture needed to produce the finest loaves of bread. With an eye-catching pattern that can effortlessly be transferred to your dough, this banneton is easy to use and maintain. It can be cleaned using only cold water and a hard brush, needing just a short period of drying in the oven to ensure a completely sanitary basket ready to be used again.
Before first use, spray the inside slightly with an enzyme-free releasing agent to protect the rattan, and dust with flour. The basket can be cleaned every 4 weeks using a brush without water. Then place the basket in the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature between 120° and 140° C to sanitise.
